Final Fantasy 16 PC Release Date Confirmed for September 17
Square Enix has officially announced that the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 16 will be available on PC platforms starting September 17. This follows over a year after its exclusive launch on the PS5, where it garnered widespread critical acclaim. Fans of the action role-playing genre can soon enjoy the game on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Free Demo Now Available
In anticipation of the full release, a free demo is currently available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. This demo allows players to dive into the first few hours of the game and includes a special ‘Eikonic Challenge’ mode, crafted exclusively for this demo. Players can carry over their save data from the demo to the full game, ensuring a seamless transition. Note that the full game will require 170GB of free disk space.

Pre-Order Options and Bonuses
Final Fantasy 16 is now available for pre-order in two editions:
- Standard Edition: Includes the base game.
- Complete Edition: Comes with the base game plus two downloadable content (DLC) chapters, Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide, both of which were previously released on PS5.
For those looking to expand their experience, the DLC chapters can be purchased individually or as part of the Final Fantasy 16 Expansion Pass, which includes both DLCs.
